Privacy Policy

We collect the information you give us and the information we need to run the Service. This includes:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, and company or organization name.
• The product and technology descriptions, briefs, and other materials you submit so we can match you to funding opportunities.
• The opportunities and applications you save and track in the Opportunity Tracker, including the status and notes you add.
• Usage and analytics data about how you interact with the Service, which helps us understand what is working and improve it.
• Billing status, such as your plan, credit balance, and whether a payment succeeded. We do not store full payment card numbers (see Section 3).

We use the information we collect to:

• Run our matching and scoring intelligence so you see the funding opportunities that fit you best.
• Surface and monitor relevant funding opportunities, including new windows as they open.
• Send you transactional emails (such as account and billing notices) and opportunity alerts. You can turn alert emails on or off per user in your settings.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the quality of our matching over time.

To improve the platform's matching for everyone, we may use aggregated or derived signals drawn from what users submit and track. This is the same mechanism that sharpens your own matches: understanding patterns across the platform makes the matching better for you and for every other user. We use these signals in aggregated or derived form, not to expose one user's private materials to another.

We will never sell, share, or otherwise transfer your company, product, or submission data to a third party, such as another user, a competitor, or a marketing company. We may, however, use award data together with aggregated and anonymized signals from across the platform to identify winning strategies and to develop, train, and improve our own internal models and features. We do this only in aggregated or anonymized form, and never by exposing your raw submissions or another user's private materials.

Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). When you pay, your card details go directly to that processor under its own security standards. We receive only the information we need to manage your account, such as your plan and whether a payment succeeded. We do not store your full payment card numbers.

We use a small set of trusted service providers to operate the Service:

• Stripe handles billing and card payments.
• Amazon SES delivers our transactional and alert emails.

These providers process information only as needed to perform their service for us, under their own privacy and security commitments.

Our analytics are privacy-respecting and cookieless: we measure how the Service is used without tracking you across the web. The only cookies we set are the ones required to sign you in and keep your session active. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. The only sharing we do is with the service providers described above, who act on our behalf to run the Service.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us at support@solicite.io. We will handle your request within a reasonable time. Some information may be retained where we are required to keep it, for example to meet legal or accounting obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us right away.

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
